Knife Sheath Large
Legal to carry large knife on me?
I have a Ka-bar marines combat knife, 7" blade. Is it legal to walk around in public with this concealed? In it's sheath? I'm not a gun person but I like the feeling of protection and power it gives. I've tried googling my answer and I couldn't find any concrete answer. Btw I live in Minnesota.
If it is longer than 3 1/2 inches you are not allowed to legally carry it on your person. Furthermore it is legal to sell daggers and the like but it is illegal to posses them. This is rarely enforced unless the knife is used in a crime. In that case you will indeed be charged with criminal posses ion of an illegal weapon. It just isn't worth the risk in my book.

Found a knife in my flower bed?
My mom was pulling weeds outside and she found an Airborne knife used by the military and it was in a sheath. Farely large knife...Should I report this? My first thought was what if someone was planning to rob my house and attack us with a knife...just me being scared. Advice??
If you want it, keep it. If you take it to the police you should not handle it directly so they can get finger prints from it.
