Dive Gauges

To avoid problems with diving in clear water, use an accurate depth gauge, refer to it frequently and it is?
recommended that you use a line for accents and descents
(sorry question to long to put on the actual question)
Some of the problems that might occur while scuba diving in clear water is actually thinking that you are shallower than you actually are which is the reason for using an accurate depth gauge and monitor it often. There are analog depth gauges as well as electronic depth gauges. The electronic depth gauges tend to be more precise than the analog gauges.
The reason for using a line for descents and ascents is to give you a frame of reference as well as to help keep you from descending too quickly which could cause ear equalization problems. You shouldn't have to grab hold of the line while you descend or ascend but if you have to, it is there. The line should be used as a visual reference.
If you are scuba diving from a boat the anchor line or mooring line would be what you would use.

I need help setting up my Floyd Rose tremolo system on my guitar?
I just bought an esp alexi 600 blacky, and its a beautiful piece of equipment.
The things I need help with though, are:
1) How do I tune the system with all these locking nut things?
2) Do I need to get heavier gauge strings?
3) Do I need to remove a spring from the back coz I play heavy metal and I will always be doing dive bombs?
Any advice/help given is appreciated!
Thanks!
1) It would be best to find an online step by step guide to tune it if it's your first time. A quick search:
http://www.ehow.com/how_4590910_tune-guitar-tremolo-bridge.html
http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/floydrosetremolo.htm
It isn't as simple as a normal guitar, as you may have guessed! When I first got my Alexi-600 (black and yellow) I was pulling my hair out for about 4 hours haha. Just try to find a good guide, pictures help, but not needed really.
2) Normally if you are playing in drop tuning it is recommended to play with thicker strings, personally I love Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky's, and sometimes I use Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom's on the Alexi. Just try out different gauges and see which ones you get on best with
Thicker strings give you a more deep crunchy sound, brilliant for heavy palm muting.
3) Definitely not, thats the brilliance of the Floyd Rose, you don't have to change anything! If you remove a spring you will lose all tension from the strings/bridge. Just practice your harmonics and sink the bar fast and smooth ;D
Hope this helps a little ^^
