Can you use a lace wig glue for weft hair extentions ie: bonding tracks?

I just need a little extra length and thickness and want to put a few tracks in from the middle down. I don't want to cornrow my hair as I want styling versatility.
I have used regular bond from the beauty supply (the ones that are black? in a small container) and it was very annoying as it melted during the summer and wasn't very stable.

The reason I ask is because my friend just got her lace wig and is using a glue that is supposedly waterproof and holds for up to a month. I think that will be amazing, if it holds such big bulk then it will be perfect for me... The waterproof angle is also appealing as i work out daily and won't want anything that melts again. Obviously i'm careful in regards to putting in/taking out so have not had much damage.

Has anyone done this?

i would not do this bc lace glue is VERY strong and it will pull ur hair out if not ur skin if not removed properly....u can use the black latex glue but when u apply the glue to the track spray a generous amount of sprirz preferebly "pump it up" brand spritz...place the track where u want then blow dry the glue dry while pressing it firmly...if u dont want the glue u can find this tape....i know u can find it online im not sure if they sell it at the hair store....but it comes in a roll of tape...u would measure u track to the part as usual and measure ur tape to the track and place it accordingly...but coming from a girl who wore tracks for along time...stick to the lace wigs...u keep ur hair, and keep it healthy...if u want u dont have to glue them down...i have 6 wigs now an di never glue or tape....i get hella compliments so i wouldd like to think i can offer some good advice on this....i hope this helps
