My stupid drink leaked over my iPod, is it gone forever?

The bottle of my drink wasn't on properly in my bag and leaked over my iPod and my phone (yep, that's not working either.)It was very wet when i took it out my bag but it can't have been in there for longer than 2 minutes and it wasn't the same sort of water damage as say... diving into a pool with it or putting it in the washing machine.
I put the iPod in the airing cupboard for about 6 hours and when when i turned it on, it worked for about 5 minutes. Then the screen went really faded and then as it was plugged into my computer, it said it didn't recognise the iPod plugged in. Then it wouldn't turn on at all. I've taken the back off my iPod and put it back in the airing cupboard.

Most electronics are fine if they get wet from water, but only if they are turned off and you don't power them up until the are 100% dry.

Now, if you spill juice, soda, coffee with cream and/or sugar into them, it has probably just become a doorstop.

Take it to your local Apple Store and have a Mac Genius look at it for free. But be sure to call ahead and make an appointment.

Lil' Monsters in my House!!?

Gnats/Fruitflies! I make sure nothing is left out, especially fruit. They dive bomb into my face & try to get into my mouth, nose, ears or eyes. Especially while on the computer; they're attracted to the light (& me). I tried a bowl of Apple Vinegar with a few drops of dishwashing detergent on my table like someone suggested & it works kinda ok but the house smells like sh....!! No air freshener, even the plug in with fan, works. Help guys ?

Look near your plants and see if they are attrracted to them, if so then yes they are from your plants. The best way to get rid of them is to get a water bottle and add some sunlight dish soap to your water in the water bottle and spray your plant down once a week. We did this and it worked, we also took our plant outside and sprayed it down a couple times, in no time the bugs were gone. good luck.
